The North East Renewables Alliance - Local suppliers installing renewable energy technologies.
There are 2 main initiatives providing incentives to install renewable technologies: Feed in Tariffs and the Renewable Heat Initiative.
The Feed-in-Tariff benefits homeowners and was introduced in April 2010 for electricity-producing technologies such as Solar PV, solar thermal, heat pumps, wind, biomass, micro combined heat and power, anaerobic digestion and hydro.
The Renewable Heat Initiative gives businesses an incentive to invest in renewable heat sources from August 2011, domestic properties will be able to benefit from October 2012. So there will be an increasing demand for renewable energy installations and a greater call for expertise in this area.
So we’re delighted to be part of the North East Renewables Alliance [NERA], a consortium of specialist renewable energy installers based in the North East of England.
With tadea providing management and administration services for NERA and the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) accredited NERA members providing the physical installation enables the consortium to tender for all types of large scale renewable energy installations including (but not limited to):
- Solar thermal
- Photo-voltaic
- Heat pumps
We are proud to be part of this increasingly important market where our knowledge and experience can make a real difference to the success of any renewable energy installation. It’s good for business, it’s good for the regional economy and it’s good for the environment.
If you would like to know more about NERA and how it can help your business with renewable energy installations please contact tadea on 0845 602 9569.
