Display Energy Certificates

Business premises account for around 20% of the UK's energy consumption and carbon emissions. Since 2008 every public building visited by members of the public must show a Display Energy Certificate and Advisory Report if they have a useful floor area of at least 1000m2.

A Display Energy Certificate shows the energy performance of a building based on actual annual consumption.

New Display Energy Certificates

Renewing a Display Energy Certificate

A Display Energy Certificate is valid for one year and must be updated/renewed annually and the Advisory Report is valid for seven years. Fines for non-compliance could cost you up to £1500.
