The County Durham Healthy Homes Partnership
Working with partner agencies across the region tadea has been instrumental in creating the County Durham Healthy Homes Partnership.
The Healthy Homes Partnership operates a two-pronged approach:
1. To provide advice and information to the elderly, the disadvantaged and other vulnerable people on how to stay warm and where to seek help and support.
2. Working directly with front-facing professionals, to provide advice and training to spot somebody who may need assistance and giving them the means to refer those who need help to support agencies.
A hugely successful initiative has been the Hotspots project.
