Fuel debt advice and support service
tadea understand that ensuring vulnerable people are sufficiently warm comes down to energy efficient homes, human behaviour, income maximisation and access to the right services. Fundamentally though, affordable energy is key and a big part of that is managing fuel bills, being on the right tariff and knowing where to go for help if debt becomes an issue.
As part of the Hotspots multi-agency referral scheme, tadea provide energy debt support, advice and information to vulnerable residents. By vulnerable we mean anyone whose health may be compromised by living without adequate heating – elderly, long-term health conditions, young families. Whether referred by a health /social care professional or a self-referral, residents receive fuel debt support by way of:
- Advice and guidance
- Referral to third party agencies (Government approved)
- Liaising with fuel suppliers on your behalf.
We can also provide you with advice and information on:
- social tariffs
- tariff switching
- accessing energy trust funds
- changing payment methods and bill management
- and more.
tadea have a wealth of experience on providing energy efficiency advice and solutions, as well as helping people to change their own behaviour in the home to reduce their bills and prevent debt building up in the first place.
