Display Energy Certificates
Business premises account for around 20% of the UK's energy consumption and carbon emissions. Every public building visited by members of the public must show a Display Energy Certificate and Advisory Report if they have a useful floor area of at least 500m2.
A Display Energy Certificate shows the energy performance of a building based on actual annual consumption.
New Display Energy Certificates
At tadea we have accredited Display Energy Certificate assessors, to produce your Display Energy Certificate and report, giving suggested energy saving improvements to make your business premises more energy efficient.
Renewing a Display Energy Certificate
A Display Energy Certificate is valid for one year and must be updated/renewed annually and the Advisory Report is valid for seven years. Fines for non-compliance could cost you up to £1500.
