The tadea Board Chairman, Phil Hughes, is also chairman of Teesdale Community Resources and of County Durham’s Economic Partnership rural advisory group. Phil is a former board member of One North East and has held many strategic roles in organisations, both inside and outside of the North East region.

Following a number of executive positions on a range of national, regional and local Boards of Directors, including tadea, Paul has become tadea’s first Chief Executive Officer. Instated to lead the tadea team in developing and delivering the tadea's five year strategy. Paul has already led tadea through a successful major restructuring process in difficult economic times, going on to achieve tadea’s best financial results to date. The next challenge is to build on that success and see continued growth and expansion during the next five year period.
June Phoenix
Strategic Business Support Manager
June has been with the company since 2003 employed initially as an Energy Advisor, rising through the ranks she took on the role as Project Manager delivering all aspects of Domestic Energy Efficiency Projects. In 2006, June was appointed as Business Support Manager and Company Secretary with overall responsibility for the Technical and Administrative support functions of the business ensuring that an effective and efficient service is delivered.
Alan Jones

Alan joined tadea in 2002, a few months after the company was formed. Since then, he has been responsible for the management and delivery of the Energy Saving Trust contracts in the North East, Cumbria and Lancashire. Throughout his time at tadea, Alan has developed strong relationships with various partners and organisations across the north of England . In April 2011, Alan moved into the role of Business Development Manager and now has the responsibility for developing strategic partnerships, bringing in new business opportunities and helping tadea to grow sustainably. Before joining tadea, Alan previously worked in local government for Copeland Borough Council and for the environmental charity Keep Britain Tidy.
Joanne Cullum

Appointed in February 2010 as tadea’s Strategic Marketing Manager. Joanne originally joined tadea as Marketing Manager for the Energy Saving Trust advice centre for the North East of England in April 2005. Joanne spent her early career in services marketing – promoting a national internet security organisation before turning her skills to charitable marketing within the hospice sector. A member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) graduate, Joanne has been key in developing a strategic marketing focus across the organisation. Joanne now spends her time working with tadea’s various business units to further develop the brand and service offerings.

Paul joined tadea in August 2011 as Strategic Operations Manager following 10 years in local government. Prior to this Paul spent 10 years at the Environment Agency delivering flood warning and emergency planning across the North East.
In his current role Paul has responsibility for ensuring the various tadea business units build on success and deliver growth as new business opportunities arise.
