Bob Kirby
Domestic Operations Manager
Bob joined tadea in September 2007 as a Project Manager, prior to this he worked in the utility industry as an electrician rising to National Account Manager.
In his current role as Domestic Operations Manager Bob is responsible for the delivering of energy efficiency measures through CERT for local authorities, landlords and private home owners aiming to reduce CO2 emissions. Bob also ensures that insulation installations are technically monitored and quality checked.
David Morgan
Commercial Manager
David has been with tadea since the company was formed in 2002. With a background in energy he was originally brought in to manage a government funded SME energy audit programme. Following this David went on to carryout Carbon Trust consultancy work.
David has a long standing background of working with and supporting Local Authorities in the North East of England.
Currently Commercial Manager, David’s main responsibilities now centre on energy certification and policy such as, Display Energy Certificates, EPCs, Air Conditioning, and Green Deal for Business.
Dorothy Turbill

Dorothy joined tadea in August 2011 as HR Manager following a career of more than 14 years HR Management experience; more recently as HR Manager at Butterwick Hospice Care and previous HR and Personnel Management roles at Tesco’s and Morrisons.
Dorothy is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and has a Masters degree in HR Management.
Her role at tadea will be to support, advise and implement a robust HR procedural framework, combined with enabling the resourcing, training and development of tadea’s growth and expansion.
Sarah joined tadea in February 2009 as a joint appointed Partnership Officer with NHS County Durham. For two years Sarah led on delivering and developing the Durham Hotspots referral scheme, aimed at tackling fuel poverty and reducing health inequalities. During this time Sarah has forged sound working relationships with a range of partner agencies and has developed new pilots such as the Cancer Survivorship Project with Macmillan and NHS Darlington.
In 2011 Sarah became Health Projects Manager and is developing a Health Strategy that will contribute to delivering the tadea five-year plan.
Malcolm Potter
Project Manager (Renewables)

Malcolm joined tadea in 2009 after many years working in the engineering sector. Since that time he has been responsible for an initiative resulting in the development of the North East Renewables Alliance (NERA).
NERA, formed as a limited company in June 2011, now bids for the large scale contracts that were previously beyond the reach of the majority of these companies. Malcolm, is a non-executive Director of NERA Ltd, representing tadea on the board.
Ian Baker
Project Manager
Ian has a degree in Environmental Sciences so when he joined tadea in 2008, after a long career in the Youth Hostel Association managing Youth Hostels in mountainous regions and heading up teams as an Area Manager, it was very much coming back to his roots. He has been responsible for delivering transport projects in Cumbria and Lancashire and has currently embarked on raising awareness of Electric Vehicles in the North East. He is also involved with developing tadea’s transport strategy and activity into the future, and always seeks opportunities for partnership working, planning events, training and delivering workshops.
